Did you find that you needed to place a marker after the first knit stitch on the first decrease row of the hat? I am finding that that first section never gets decreased and am afraid to continue. How did yours turn out? My yarn is different so I had to change the pattern. I CO 86. vanscoy2@bellsouth.net

You know, I can't remember. I don't even have a photo. It definitely didn't turn out as flat as the photo showed it to be in the book. I wouldn't make it again.
